We tried four different subs. The American, Italian , Gourmet and the sub of the month-the Muffaletta. All were very, very good. Meaty, fresh and tasty. And the service was fast and friendly. The American was the best, followed the Muffaletta, the Italian and then the Gourmet. My only minor issues were they use hot capacola on the Italian and I like plain. And not a big pastrami fan. 4.5 overall.

I was lured into Spring Forest 2 by the covenant '30 Sandwiches in 30 Days' that the Tribune put out. I wanted to be as true to list as possible, so my friend and myself both had the recommended sandwich, the Italian Sub. WOW. Not disappointed. Sure there were 3 servings of meat and 3 servings of cheese on it, but that's what made it sooo delicious. The bread was fresh and tasty. The oil/dressing was perfect. It was a wonderful sandwich and YES, I ate the entire thing in one sitting. Now, to boot, this cute and quaint little restaurant had some homemade goodies on the counter. Me being a brownie connoisseur have pledged to never let a brownie pass me by... OMG. Delicious. Frosting, chocolatey, perfect one serving size. Spring Forest 2, yes. You are good.

I've been going here since 1997, this is my favorite place for great soups, salads, and sandwiches. The employees are the best, they remember you after eating there a few times, they are also quick and courteous, and the owners are awesome, they are always behind the counter busting their ass doing something. I could really go on for hours talking about the food, I have never had a bad experience here, and I will keep coming back, the only setback is they close at 5 P.M., but hey they put in a twelve plus hour day making great stuff.

I have ordered from here since 2006. We started off with lunches and then had them do some catering. All the food made here is tastey and fresh. We have recommended our friend here as well. If you are looking for quality eats at a relative price, this is the place. Our favorites are the Gourmet, Burger of the month, soups, pasta salads and their tray of shells. The staff is friendly has well.

When we moved into the area, a little over a year ago, we were told to try this place out. Since then we've used it at least 7 times for catering. Their lasagna, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian is amazing. It tastes better than homemade. We once ate leftovers for 4 straight days and it was still delicious! Their salads and sides are fresh and feed way more than they say. Best of all, you can't beat the price. It's great food and a better price. Mike is extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be eating here for many years to come.

Just moved to the area for a new job, and I heard a lot of great things about this place from my co-workers. Decided to stop in one day and tried the Italian sub, and was I impressed. Possibly the best sub sandwich I had. Really glad I found this place, as I intend to go there on a weekly basis.

Spring Hill 2 is like a tasty hidden gem amongst the trees on Archer Rd in Willow Springs. Now, I'm no stranger to a quality sub sandwich, I've tried a large variety of places from Subway to Jasons Deli, to Fontanos and now Spring Forest. I'd rank Spring Forest right at the top of my list. They have a large selection of pre-designed subs you can choose from, or you can build your own from a list of different ingredients. Either way, you can't go wrong. The ingredients are fresh and the portions are large. They also have pizza and burgers, but I haven't had the chance to try those yet. I built my own own sub and I was totally satisfied, the meat and cheese were piled high, and the italian dressing they put on was pretty good. They have some seating outside, or you can just take your order to go. I definitely recommend giving them a try if your a sub/sandwich type person.

Spring Forest 2 is one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat. It just feels like you are at home and the food tastes great. I love their marinated chicken breast sandwich however I'm sure everything else on the menu is just as tasty. They have an area outside where you can sit and eat and enjoy the weather. Feel's like you're eating in a friend's backyard!

Where do I begin?? Meatball sandwich is legendary. I had a smoked turkey panini for lunch today that could make you cry!! I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. I've catered home parties from here and I've hosted events out of the back picnic garden and I've NEVER had a bad meal. If Mike ever stops cooking I might just starve!

Best sub I've had in a long time (gourmet sub). Fresh Italian toppings, quality meat and good bread with a perfectly toasted crunch. Yummy spinach pasta salad. And fantastic slice of pizza. Not too thin, not thick.

We stopped here on our way to the O'hare airport to grab a sandwich to take on our flight. Excellent idea! Prices are GREAT and the Italian sub was REALLY good. Even after sitting in my bag through security (sounds gross but really... it was STILL tasty). The place was really cute and worth checking out. I can't wait to return to try their other sandwiches.

A shout out to all the Yelpers upon whose recommendations I ventured into this little deli whilst traveling through Willow Springs. Two words: food nirvana. This one's simple: Go! Eat! Enjoy!

When driving down Archer Ave. through Willow Springs, don't blink or you'll miss it. One thing you will really miss after you eat here is the food. All of it is home made every day and you can taste the quality. The subs and burgers are HUGE.....on taste and size. Their breakfast is awesome too. The lumberjack breakfast and biscuits and gravy, total food coma. Have it on a day when you don't have to work.

Best sandwiches/burgers ever. Italian sub? Amazing. Pizza burger? just as good. The salads they have are awesome as well. If you are in the area and need something for lunch- you are a fool to pass this place up. Spring forest gets it done and has been for a long long time.

A great little place with a friendly staff and tasty food. Only drawback is they have their steak sandwiches on Friday. Friday is Fish Day in our house. Love Love Love their deserts. Their brownies are to die for!!!!

You can seriously live at spring forest in the summer. They have steak and egg breakfast burritos that are out of this world! Then for lunch, the deli sandwiches and pizza burgers are to die for. Then dinner, the broasted chicken is the best for miles and miles. The prices are so dirt cheap you might just feel guilty.
